It is estimated that 15 percent of American children are considered obese. Sixteen percent are overweight. The Saint Barnabas Healthy Life Pediatric Weight Management Program, located at the Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center's Pediatric Specialty Center, is a multi-disciplinary pediatric weight management program, designed to help children and their families make changes to support a healthier lifestyle. With the help of the Healthy Life team, families can gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make food and activity choices that are both healthy and satisfying.
