Children's Heart Center - Multidisciplinary Planning Conference

L5 Conference Room, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center

This weekly case conference brings together our entire multidisciplinary cardiovascular team of physicians, surgeons, nurses, social workers, and cardiovascular technologists for discussion of interesting or challenging cases, a final review of all upcoming surgical and cardiac catheterization cases, and a status report on current cardiac ICU and cardiology service inpatients within the Children's Hospital. In addition to enhancing multidisciplinary care for current Children's Heart Center patients, this conference affords the region's many independent pediatric and adult cardiologists an opportunity to personally present their patients to our Center's expert staff for consultation.

First and third Tuesdays of every month 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM:

Pediatric Residency Program - Morning Report (Cardiology)

C5 Conference Room, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center

This bi-weekly case presentation is delivered by a Children's Hospital pediatric resident, and moderated by Children's Heart Center faculty. Format is case-presentation involving a patient with interesting or challenging cardiac disease.

Pediatric Residency Program - Cardiology Noon Lecture Series

C5 Conference Room, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center

This monthly lecture series is hosted by Children's Heart Center faculty, and covers fundamental pediatric cardiology topics of educational importance to all pediatric residents and medical students who rotate on the general pediatric inpatient wards, intensive care units, and specialty cardiology services.
