Dr. Verma is active in the training
and supervision of cardiology nurse practitioners,
medical students, house staff and advanced
pediatric cardiology fellows. As a lecturer
at local and national professional association
meetings, Dr. Verma’s recent topics have
included percutaneous therapy of congenital
heart disease and advances in the management
of Kawasaki disease. He maintains a special
interest in evolving therapeutic modalities
to alleviate complex congenital heart disease.
Dr. Verma is also available for expert consultation
related to transcatheter treatment of adults
with congenital heart disease (e.g., patent
foramen ovale and atrial septal defect).
