 The medical residency program at Newark Beth Israel Medical
Center is a well-balanced educational experience. By
offering residents a mix of urban and suburban patients, providing
them with both practical and academic training, and balancing
supervision with independence, we have an ideal framework to
educate the medical house officer.
We are proud that our residency program offers the education that
tomorrow's general internist will need in order to provide superior
patient care, and one which will provide a sound foundation for

At Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, residents receive experience
in all aspects of primary, subspecialty, and critical care medicine,
as well as exposure to managed care and clinical research.
