The Pediatric Residency program at Newark Beth Israel Medical
Center strives to provide our residents with the experiences
necessary for both the pursuit of careers in general and subspecialty
pediatrics.
We are committed to offering a broad-based residency experience.

Our unique environment is small enough to enable residents to
form close relationships with faculty and large enough to allow
for peer interaction and a mix of rich clinical experiences.
Each year of residency training provides increased responsibility
for patient care, clinical supervision and teaching. We focus
on skills to train our residents to be expert clinicians, advocates
for children and life-long learners.
