Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s
Hospital of New Jersey have a long history of training at
the undergraduate and graduate medical education levels.

Newark
Beth Israel Medical Center participates in the regional
student program alongside Saint
Barnabas Medical Center, and Clara
Maass Medical Center. Students are able to complete their
3rd year core rotations within the Saint Barnabas Health
Care System institutions and gain valuable experience in
complimentary urban and suburban settings.
Students are also able to apply to Newark Beth
Israel student rotations individually outside of the regional
program.
The 3rd year core rotations are set up prior
to the start of the academic year at NYCOM by
the office of clinical education.

Newark Beth Israel offers a large selection of rotation options
for the 4th year medical student in the Departments of Medicine,
Pediatrics, Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
