A condition in which the infant's skull
becomes flattened on one side more than the other due to
uneven pressure or position.
A condition where the neck muscles on one
side are tight, causing restricted neck motion and tilted
head position.
These two common conditions are often seen together in
infants and both need to be identified and treated for complete
resolution.
Conveniently located
in the Pediatric Outpatient Rehab Center, our team will provide
both a physical examination by our craniofacial surgeon as
well as an evaluation by a pediatric physical therapist for
possible associated muscle dysfunction.
At the
conclusion of the evaluation each patient will receive a
comprehensive plan of care. Follow up care and appointments
will be arranged by the Craniofacial Center.
Please call us at 973.322.6363 to schedule an appointment
or to make a referral.
