The
MS Center is pleased to offer a special program
for the Center’s
patients to help improve and assure the well-being
of patients and their partners. Participation in the MS Wellness
Program is arranged for both parties at the same time and location.
Thanks to a generous grant from Biogen Idec, Inc. the Program is
offered at a greatly reduced rate with a limited number of scholarships
available.
The exercise component of the Program features a one-year, unlimited use membership for patients and their partners in the Center for Health and Wellness located at the Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center. This is New Jersey’s first exercise facility for individuals with special health conditions. The objective is to assist participants in achieving health and fitness goals in a safe environment. A highly trained staff of exercise physiologists design personalized wellness plans and offer ongoing supervision and support. Physician consent is required.
The MS Support Group helps patients cope with the physical symptoms, emotional challenges and stresses of life with MS.
