 The Obesity and Weight Management Center at the Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center recognizes the complex nature of serious weight conditions.
It is especially designed for adults who have not
been helped by other weight loss methods.
The Center also offers specialized programs and
lifestyle management support before and after bariatric surgery.
For children under the age of 18, The Pediatric Specialty Center offers the Healthy LIFE® Pediatric Weight Management program which provides a blame-free, supportive environment for overweight children and their families to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Healthy LIFE® program––Healthy Lifestyle Is For Everyone––helps children reach a healthy weight and teaches them how to make healthier choices without giving up satisfaction and enjoyment.
As an affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System, The Obesity and Weight Management Center assures that participants will receive the highest quality care. The Center’s philosophy is to help each participant address the many complex issues related to weight problems, while also helping them to develop and maintain a healthier lifestyle. Each patient works with certified, health professionals who are experts in their fields and have experience with the complications of obesity. An individualized treatment plan is prepared to address his or her specific needs.
Through the excellence of the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Medical Staff, patients will also have access to many medical specialties associated with obesity.
Patients are encouraged to discuss this program with their primary care physicians.
