The Division of Adolescent Medicine provides primary care for adolescents including well check ups, immunization updates and sports physicals, gynecological care for teenage females, sexuality counseling and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases. The division is lead by a full-time physician who is board certified in pediatrics. A nutritionist and social worker skilled in working with teens complete the team. The division’s specialized services include:

• Counseling and education on sexuality counseling, substance abuse, weight control and eating disorders
• Inpatient treatment in Children’s Hospital of New Jersey’s 30-bed unit for older children and adolescents
• Access to full range of specialists and subspecialists at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey
