Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center has a residency program in pediatrics and provides pediatric education for residents in other disciplines including orthopedics and family practice. Thirty-six pediatric residents and 13 residents in a combined internal medicine/pediatrics program are currently being trained at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, which is a major teaching affiliate of St. George’s University School of Medicine and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
