Belleville, NJ—Clara Maass Medical
Center in partnership with the Lyndhurst Health Department will
host a brown-bag medication check-up on September
14, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Lyndhurst Health Department located at
253 Stuyvesant Ave, Lyndhurst.
During the check-up, a pharmacist will review all of the medications
and products you are currently taking. The pharmacist can check
these medications for the correct dosage strength, frequency, or
to identify if you are using outdated or discontinued medications.
These practitioners can also screen the medications and products
for potential duplication of therapy or side effects. This is why
it is important to include non-prescription products in the bag.
The pharmacist will also discuss medications, interaction, and
side effects. Remember to bring all prescription medications, over-the-counter
medications, and herbal or natural products or you are taking.
To schedule your brown-bag check-up, please call 1.888.724.7123,
prompt 1.
