The Bariatric Surgery Center at Clara Maass Medical Center
offers free
community seminars discussing what to expect during
and after surgery, as well as the surgery’s risks,
benefits and alternatives.
Every second Wednesday of the month at Clara Maass Medical
Center—West Hudson Division, located at 206
Bergen Avenue, Kearny. The program will be held in
the Main Lobby, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Every third Wednesday of the month at Clara Maass
Medical Center, located at 1 Clara Maass Drive, Belleville. The
program will be held in the Belleville Founders Room
(located in the Main Lobby next to the Gift Shop), from
6 to 7 p.m.
A bariatric surgery support group will follow the seminars
(7 p.m. to 8 p.m.), in which seminar attendees are encouraged
to stay and speak with former surgery patients.
Free parking is available in the parking deck at each location.
