The Center for Sleep Disorders can help improve the lives of those
suffering from any number of conditions, such as insomnia, sleep
apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome and other disorders.
At the new Center, four types of non-invasive studies are conducted
and comprehensive evaluations are performed by sleep specialists.
Patients may participate in an overnight sleep study and/or a series
of nap studies during the daytime. The studies include nocturnal
polysomnogram, nasal CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure)
titration, multiple sleep latency and a split night study, which
utilize sophisticated diagnostic equipment to monitor brain, heart,
respiratory and muscle activity during sleep.
