 At Community Medical Center, ensuring the ultimate in safety and security for our moms and their babies is one of our top priorities. Immediately after birth, your baby will receive an identification bracelet that corresponds to one that must be worn by you and your baby’s father.Your baby cannot be released from the Nursery without one of you first showing this matching identification band.
To further enhance the safety of moms and their babies, our unit is staffed by a team of Security Officers who monitor the area 24-hours a day, with additional security measures taken during visiting hours. For added safety, our Maternity Unit is equipped with one of the most advanced electronic infant security and monitoring systems available.
