Memorial/Honor Gifts

A gift in honor or memory of a beloved friend or associate can be the most appropriate way to express a lasting tribute. To honor someone at an important milestone in his or life, for instance a birthday or anniversary, is also an ideal way to give a special gift to that person. A contribution in someone’s memory creates a lasting commemoration of that person and of your friendship.

If a gift or gifts collectively in one person’s name total $1,000 or more, that individual’s name is permanently placed on a special plaque that is displayed in the hospital. Each of these gifts is also acknowledged with a card to the honored person or to the family of the person in whose name the gift is made. Notification does not include the amount of the gift.
In addition, the donor also receives a separate acknowledgment of his or her contribution.
