Center for Kids & Family to Present Program for Fathers and Sons: “It’s A Boy Thing”

Toms River, N.J., January 6, 2009 – Presenting straightforward information about puberty can help adolescent boys come to terms with the myriad of changes occurring in their bodies. But knowing how to present that information appropriately and effectively can be a difficult challenge for parents.

The Center for Kids & Family at Community Medical Center will host, “It’s a Boy Thing” on Friday, January 19 from 6 – 7 p.m. for fathers and sons to learn about the changes that accompany puberty in a comfortable and non-threatening environment.

The program will help fathers and sons learn together, as well as open the doors of communication.

The program fee is $15. Pre-registration is required by calling the Center for Kids & Family at (732) 505-KIDS. The program will be held at the Center for Kids & Family, 591 Lakehurst Road in Toms River.
