Joseph Triolo, M.D., is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology who received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College
of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. After completing a one-year internal medicine internship at Bryn Mawr Hospital, he began his radiology residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Philadelphia, where he served as chief resident. He completed his fellowship at Philadelphia’s Temple University Hospital in Musculoskeletal Radiology with a special emphasis on MRI.
Dr. Triolo joined the Medical Radiology Group practice at Community Medical Center in 1995 and has held numerous appointments during his tenure. He is a member of the Cancer Committee and Tumor Board Committee, and he also served as the cancer liaison physician for the Cancer Program.
Currently he serves as chairman of Radiology at Community Medical Center, and is medical director for Ocean Medical Imaging Center. Under Dr. Triolo’s leadership the department has initiated some of the newest technology available in the Radiology industry. He was instrumental with the transition to digital imaging (PACS) in 2004, an advance that speeds diagnosis and treatment for all patients at our hospital. Dr. Triolo spearheaded the addition of a 3 Tesla MRI, and a 64 Slice CT Scanner in 2006, both of which were the first in Ocean County.
While Dr. Triolo’s primary area of expertise is MRI, he is an interventional radiologist and is licensed by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission as an authorized user.
He has presented numerous continuing education programs to audiences nationwide on a host of topics including MRI of the Musculoskeletal system, open MRI, MR arthrography, advances in body imaging, open MRI of the musculoskeletal system, open MR of the shoulder and open MR of the knee. He is a published journal and book author on topics including MRI, skeletal radiology, and interventional radiology.
Dr. Triolo is a member of the American College of Radiology, Society of Skeletal Radiology, Society of Interventional Radiology and Radiological Society of North America.

Cynthia Barone, D.O., is a board-certified radiologist who received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Barone completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, where she was chief resident. She was fellowship trained in body imaging at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Barone joined the Medical Radiology Group at Community Medical Center in 2002. Her special interests include women’s imaging, including mammography and obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsy. She also is versed in breast MRI.
She holds board certification from the American Board of Radiology and her professional memberships include the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. She also is a member of a host of local medical societies including the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, Greater Delaware Valley Ultrasound Society and New Jersey Radiological Society.

Alicia Daniels, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist who received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. She completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where she had special training in mammography and stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy and hysterosalpingography.
Dr. Daniels joined Medical Radiology Group at Community Medical Center in 1997 and is chief of the Women’s Imaging section. She is a member of the National Mammography Society.

Michael D’Angelo, MD is a board-certified radiologist who
received his medical degree from Medical College of Virginia.
He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Johns Hopkins
Hospital.
He was fellowship trained in Vascular /Interventional
Radiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology at John Hopkins
Hospital.
Dr. D’Angelo joined Medical Radiology Group at Community
Medical Center in February, 2008.
He holds board certification from the American Board of Radiology
with added qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
His special interests include vascular and interventional radiology,
as well as musculoskeletal radiology. Dr. D’Angelo
also specializes in chemo embolization and radiofrequency ablation
of liver tumors and metastases.

William Didie, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist who received his medical degree from State University of New York’s Health Science Center at Syracuse. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Christiana Hospital, Newark, Del., and he was fellowship trained in musculoskeletal imaging at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.
Dr. Didie, whose special interests include body imaging MRI and musculoskeletal imaging, joined Medical Radiology Group at Community Medical Center in July 2006.
He holds board certification from the American Board of Radiology and his professional memberships include the American College of Radiology and American Medical Association.

Nazir El-Abidin is a board-certified radiologist who received his medical degree from Damascus University. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Monmouth Medical Center.
He had special training in vascular radiology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center where he was an instructor in Radiology. Dr. El-Abidin joined Medical Radiology Group at Community Medical Center in 1981.
Dr. El-Abidin’s special interests include chest radiology, PET imaging and mammography.

Richard Fernandez MD is a board-certified radiologist who received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine.
He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the Medical College of Virginia and is fellowship trained in Neuroradiology.
Dr. Fernandez joined Medical Radiology Group at Community Medical Center in 1988.
Dr. Fernandez wrote the first article on a group of patients describing CNS findings of Lyme disease. He did the first virtual autopsy for religious reasons in the United States.
He holds board certification from the American Board of Radiology with added qualifications in Neuroradiology.

Arkady Finkel, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist who received his medical degree from Penn State Hershey Medical Center, in Hershey, Pa. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Temple University, Philadelphia, and he was fellowship trained in neuroradiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Dr. Finkel joined Medical Radiology Group at Community Medical Center in 2004.
He holds board certification from the American Board of Radiology with added qualifications in neuroradiology. His special interests include imaging of Oncologic Patients and Chest radiology.

Douglas Gibbens, MD is a board-certified radiologist who received his medical degree from University of Southern California, School of Medicine. He completed a surgical internship at Boston City Hospital and diagnostic radiology residency at Boston University Medical Center where he was chief resident.
He was fellowship trained in Nuclear Medicine at Boston City Hospital, Vascular /Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and post graduate trained in PET/CT at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Gibbens joined Medical Radiology Group at Community Medical Center in 1995 and is currently the associate chairman of radiology at Community. He holds board certification from the American Board of Radiology with additional boards in Nuclear Medicine and Vascular / Interventional Radiology.
His special interests include vascular / interventional radiology, molecular imaging & therapeutics, and magnetic resonance imaging.
Dr. Gibbens has published over 30 peer reviewed articles, abstracts, and book chapters and has participated in many Food and Drug Administration research trials. Felix Kravets, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist who received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital and Health Sciences Center. He completed fellowship training in neuroradiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, N.Y.
