The main ED has 47 treatment rooms and cubicles, including special areas for mental health, chest pain, stroke, and other higher acuity emergencies. It is open and staffed 24/7.
Minor Treatment has 8 treatment rooms and operates from 8:00am to 11:00pm, 7 days per week. This area provides prompt, efficient care for those patients with less serious illnesses and injuries.
Kid Care has 8 child-friendly treatment rooms and operates from 8:00am until 11:00pm, 7 days per week. This area is staffed by board certified pediatricians who have had special training to handle emergencies. Nurses and technicians in this area are trained and experienced in caring for children. During the night hours when Kid Care is not open, children are seen by a board certified pediatrician in the Main ED area.
