Community Medical Center’s Pediatric Emergency Department is
staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by physicians board-certified
in Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine. These highly trained physicians
are supported by a team of specially trained nurses certified in
pediatric advanced life support and highly skilled technicians.
Our Minor Treatment area in the Emergency Department includes a
17-bed area for minor emergencies with 8 dedicated pediatric beds.
This dedicated area provides special amenities for children where
they are sheltered from the adult emergency population.
