Superheroes for Hospice

Superheroes for Hospice is a fundraising project for the Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center (SBHPCC).

There are several ways to support Superheroes for Hospice:

• Attend a Comic Book Show
• Donate Comic Books
• Become a Volunteer
• Comic Creators: Appear at a Comic Book Show

• Comic Book Show and Sale Scheduled at Monmouth Mall

Comic Book creators can lend their name to our effort by appearing at our September 11, 2010 show at the Monmouth Mall in Eatontown, NJ.  Our goal is to create an event where fans will have the opportunity to meet comic book creators, get autographs and/or maybe even a sketch of a favorite character.

Comic Books may be mailed to or dropped off at the address below.

A pick-up can also be arranged if you live or work in northern or central New Jersey.  Please contact Spiro Ballas at 973-322-4866 or sballas@sbhcs.com.

• SBHPCC will provide documentation acknowledging your donation for tax purposes
• If requested, SBHPCC will also provide a detailed account of your donation which lists the title, an assessment of the grade, and the current Overstreet Comic Book price guide.  (Guide prices are often higher than the actual price you may get from a dealer.)
• Easier than selling books individually
• The donation benefits patients and families facing advanced illness
