Free Dementia Caregiver Program to be Held in Long Branch
Long Branch, NJ -- On Monday, October 26, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., the Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater NJ Chapter, will host a free program for dementia caregivers titled, Living with Alzheimer’s Disease – A Holistic Approach to Care in the Mid- to Late-Stages. This program will be held in the Monmouth Medical Center Community Room, located at 300 Second Avenue in Long Branch.
Program topics include communication techniques as well as caring for the caregiver – mind, body and spirit. A light dinner will be served. Registration is required. Please RSVP to 1-888-724-7123 (select prompt #4) no later than 10/19.
