Saint Barnabas
Hospice Makes a Call for Comic Books
New Jersey - Are your comic books collecting dust? The
Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, an affiliate
of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System, can help!
Comic books can be donated to the SBHPCC
and you can still deduct their full value from your taxes. Donations
will be resold at comic book events held for collectors. Within
approximately three weeks following your donation, the
SBHPCC will list, grade and indicate the Overstreet
Guide’s stated price for each donated book and
send the information to you as a courtesy. All proceeds
benefit the patients and families served by the SBHPCC.
For more information or to make a donation,
please contact Spiro Ballas, Senior Volunteer Coordinator,
at 973-322-4866 or sballas@sbhcs.com.
Established in 1981, Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative
Care Center provides comprehensive physical, emotional and
spiritual care and support services for patients with advanced
illness and their families throughout ten counties in the
State of New Jersey. The program, which serves infants, children,
adults and the elderly, honors the unique choices and values
of patients and their families while offering full access
to the broad array of services provided by the Saint Barnabas
Health Care System.
