Saint Barnabas to Host Seminar for
Daughters Who Have Lost Mothers
The relationship between a mother and a daughter is a unique
and special bond that lasts a lifetime. As Mother’s
Day approaches (celebrated Sunday, May 10, 2009) daughters
who have lost their mother may feel especially sad reflecting
on memories of their cherished mother. In recognition
of this important day, and the emotions that may accompany
it, the Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center,
an affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System, will
host a “Daughters Who Have Lost Mothers” workshop
on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m. The event will
be held at the Saint Barnabas Health Care System located
at 95 Old Short Hills Road in West Orange.
For more information or to RSVP, please contact Judith Zucker,
LCSW, Bereavement Coordinator and Counselor, at 973-322-4817
or jzucker@sbhcs.com.
All
attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite recipe passed
down by their mother to share with the group and for the
creation of a special cookbook.
