Care & Support When You Need It Most

When a loved one has Advanced Dementia the whole family is impacted in countless ways. Over time, as the disease increasingly affects a patient’s memories, personality and behavior, it’s common for families to feel emotionally, physically and financially overextended. Fortunately, the right expert care can ease the multiple effects of this condition, and give everyone some measure of peace.

The Advanced Dementia Care Program, offered by Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, is run by a team with more than 25 years of experience in providing care for this condition. Our program is designed to:

• Monitor and manage patient symptoms for optimal comfort
• Provide information, comprehensive support and hands-on assistance
• Offer a true continuum of health care services to both the patient and family through the stages of the disease

Our patient and family-centered approach provides families with a fresh perspective, care options they may not know about and continuous support. As the patient receives our specialized care family stress is reduced – and everyone experiences an improved quality of life.
