Childbirth Education and Newborn Care Classes

First three Thursdays of every other month, 6:30-9:00 pm

This three-session program prepares each expectant mother and her support person for the birth experience. Topics include body changes during pregnancy; labor, birth, and anesthesia options; and planning and preparation for baby. A strong emphasis is placed on relaxation techniques, Lamaze breathing techniques, comfort measures and labor support. Fee: $75. Kimball offers Childbirth Education and Newborn Care classes every other month, as a 3 day series.
