The Legacy Society - "Caring for the Future"

The Legacy Society is Kimball Medical Center’s donor club that recognizes philanthropic individuals and invites them to participate in special programs. To become a member, simply notify the Foundation office that you have made, or intend to make, a planned gift to Kimball Medical Center. Planned gifts include charitable contributions through wills, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, life insurance, or the pooled income fund. Bequests by will and gifts of securities or real estate are also included.

Bequests – A bequest by will such as “I give to Kimball Medical Center Foundation, Lakewood, Ocean County, New Jersey, a tax-exempt corporation, the sum of _______________ Dollars ($ ) [or _____ percentage of the residue], for its general purposes” is an easy way to provide for the Foundation’s future. If most or all assets are in a living trust, a benefactor can add a similar provision to the trust instrument. In either situation, an attorney should be consulted. We would be pleased to meet with anyone and answer any questions you may have about the programs or the Foundation. All discussions will be kept strictly confidential.
