Lakewood, NJ --- Deanene Berry, AuD,
clinical audiologist, recently joined the staff at the Kimball
Institute for Rehabilitative and Occupational Health Services. Berry,
a resident of Philadelphia, PA, is a licensed audiologist
and a licensed hearing aid dispenser.
Berry will be working with patients at Kimball Medical Center’s
Institute for Rehabilitative and Occupational Health Services
to diagnose, treat and manage patients with hearing or balance
issues; perform comprehensive audiological evaluations; and
conduct industrial screenings and newborn hearing screenings. Additionally,
she will also conduct computerized balance and vestibular
assessments, ototoxic drug monitoring, and educational consultations.
At the Kimball Institute, all audiologists use specialized
equipment to obtain information about hearing or balance
function. They can also inspect eardrums and check
for medically-related hearing, balance and processing problems.
Berry received her Doctor of Audiology Degree from Bloomsburg
University. She earned her undergraduate degree at
Temple University where she majored in Communication Disorders. She
also possesses a certification in sign language studies and
completed an Interpreter Education program, both at the Community
College of Philadelphia.
The Kimball Institute for Rehabilitative Services is located
on the Kimball Campus at 500 River Avenue in Lakewood.
