LAKEWOOD, NJ – Kimball Medical Center recently launched a new electronic newsletter, called e-Check-Up. The publication, which is distributed by email every month, is gaining popularity very quickly.

Joe Hicks, Executive Director at Kimball Medical Center, said, “Electronic newsletters are an ideal way to get vital information out to a large group of people on a regular basis. Kimball always has healthcare news to share with our community and an e-newsletter is an excellent vehicle for communicating timely information to the public.”

Anyone interested in signing up for the free newsletter should log onto www.saintbarnabas.com and select Kimball Medical Center from the “Find a Facility” link on the home page. “Simply click on the “Subscribe to Our Health e-Newsletter” link and complete the information. Every month you’ll receive the newsletter right in your email inbox.”

Since e-Check-Up launched in August, many people have signed up for the e-newsletter.  “Our goal is to include pertinent information on a variety of topics that is useful to our readers,” explained Hicks.

The newsletter includes articles about general health information, news from the hospital about new programs and services, special events, programs, lectures and support groups.  To suggest a topic for a future issue, readers can email info@sbhcs.com.

Hicks said, “In this electronic age where information is sent and received faster than ever before, we hope that our patients, neighbors and community find it beneficial to know what’s going on at Kimball Medical Center in a modern, useful way.”
