KIMBALL KASH RAFFLE ANNOUNCED

Lakewood, NJ – Kimball Medical Center Foundation will begin selling Kimball Kash Raffle tickets on Monday, September 14.  Valued at $100 each, these tickets are a great way to support the Kimball Medical Center Foundation and win up to $50,000 at the same time!

Only 1,000 tickets will be sold.  The winner will receive 50% of the total share, which could be up to $50,000 if all 1,000 tickets are purchased.

The winning ticket will be drawn on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 3 pm in the Main Lobby at Kimball Medical Center.  The Mega Raffle proceeds will benefit the Kimball Medical Center Patient Care Fund, which is used to purchase needed equipment on the Nursing Units at Kimball.

“The Patient Care Fund has enabled us to purchase special equipment such as vital sign monitoring equipment and specialty reclining chairs for our nursing units,” explains Deanna Sperling, RN, Vice President of Patient Care Services at Kimball Medical Center.  “We are extremely grateful to the Foundation for providing us with this special fund so that we can purchase items that are truly needed on our units.”

The Kimball Medical Center Foundation was created to support Kimball Medical Center and the programs and services it provides. A variety of fundraising events held throughout the year, as well as contributions from individuals, corporations, and other donors help the Foundation fund facility improvements, and also help fund new programs and services and purchase state of the art equipment. The foundation enjoys the support of thousands of friends, especially the members of the Kimball Medical Center Auxiliary Association, whom not only raise funds for the hospital, but also serve as “ambassadors” in the community.
