Lakewood, NJ --- The Kimball Medical
Center Foundation recently established the Samantha Montemayor
Nursing Scholarship program in honor of the daughter of Kimball
Medical Center employee, Domingo Montemayor, RN, a nurse
on the Intensive Care Unit.
Samantha Montemayor was a promising young lady whose life
was prematurely taken in a fatal car accident. Samantha’s
goal in life was to become a nurse like both of her parents.
Samantha received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from
Temple University and was enrolled in a Nursing Program at
Ocean County College.
Although Samantha’s dream of becoming a nurse will
never be realized, this scholarship will provide another
individual with the opportunity to realize their dream while
keeping Samantha’s spirit alive.
The Kimball Medical Center Foundation is currently accepting
donations from community members and employees to create
this nursing scholarship in Samantha’s name. Donations
of any amount are greatly appreciated.
Please call the Kimball Medical Center Foundation at 732.886.4438
for further information.
