Melinda
J. Staiger, M.D.,
earned her under-graduate degree from Adelphi University, New York,
and her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine.
She completed an internship in internal medicine and her residency
in diagnostic radiology at New York University Medical Center,
New York. Board Certified as a diagnostic radiologist, Dr. Staiger
brings nearly 20 years of experience in breast imaging to Monmouth
Medical Center. Before joining Monmouth, Dr. Staiger served for
seven years as director of breast imaging at Good Samaritan Hospital
Medical Center, West Islip, N.Y.
Prior to this post, she served three years as director of breast
imaging at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/Magee Breast
Center, director of Breast Imaging at the Pittsburgh Cancer Institute
Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and director of Mammography for
New York University Medical Center.
Dr. Staiger is a member of the American College of Radiology,
the American Association of Women Radiologist, the International
Digital Mommography Development Group, the American Institute of
Ultrasound in Medicine, The radiological Society of North America,
the Society for Breast Imaging and the New York Roentgen Society.
