Pediatric Dental Medicine

Monmouth Medical Center has one of the largest dental departments in New Jersey. Some of the most advanced surgical procedures have been performed here, including temporomandibular joint arthroscopy, orthognathic surgery as well as comprehensive dentistry under general anesthesia for pediatric and special needs patients.

At Monmouth Medical Center’s Regional Cleft Palate Center, a team of specialists takes a personalized approach to the treatment of cleft lip and palate — common birth defects affecting one in 700 newborns. It is one of five regional referral centers in the state established by the New Jersey Department of Health for children born with clefts. Click here to learn more about our Cleft Palate Center.
