Fittanto, DPM, Podiatric Medicine, Monmouth Medical Center; Diabetes can damage the nerves and blood vessels going to your legs and feet often causing foot problems.  When this occurs, you may not feel a cut, blister or ingrown toenail.  If left untreated, foot problems can become serious.
