PATIENT SATISFACTION (973) 926-7178 Patient satisfaction is a top priority of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The Department of Patient Satisfaction works closely with the entire Newark Beth Israel community to achieve the highest level of satisfaction for our patients. Information related to patient satisfaction is centralized and collected through survey, letters, visits and focus groups as well as Patient Representative reports, in order to effectively analyze and address all patient concerns. Patient Representatives, acting as liaisons between patients and staff, serve as advocates and problem solvers. The Department is also a resource for information regarding advance directives and assistive devices for the handicapped. Notary services are available to patients and staff upon request.
