Board Certified in General Obstetrics/Gynecology, Dr. Pitter
received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
from the University of Illinois at Chicago and received
his medical education at the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey.
He
completed his post-graduate residency at Newark Beth Israel
Medical Center in the areas of obstetrics and gynecology.
He
has several years experience with minimally invasive gynecological
surgery and was one of the first gynecologists to complete
a robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy in the state
of New Jersey.
With
minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Pitter’s patients
are able to go home on the same day of surgery with quicker
recovery for procedures such as myomectomies and/or hysterectomies
that would typically involve long hospital stays and long
recovery periods.
