Press Releases - 2006 NEWARK BETH ISRAEL MEDICAL CENTER NAMES AIDA VELEZ SEPTEMBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH NEWARK, NJ -- Hillside.resident, Aida Velez, a teacher at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) Child Care Center, was named the medical center's September Employee of the Month. Ms.Velez, who has been an NBIMC employee for well over 40 years, was lauded for her demonstrated leadership in the handling of a health crisis at the Child Care Center in the absence of the director."Ms.Velez is highly dependable, responsible and up to the task on any given day. She's great!," commented Yvonne Barker, director of the Child Care Center at NBIMC. Established in 1994 for employees, the Child Care Center at Newark Beth Israel, provides onsite quality and affordable childcare for children ages two months to five years.
