Kensington Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, an affiliate
of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System, recently celebrated the
grand opening of its newly renovated 28-bed short-term rehabilitation
suite, Nottingham House. Pictured here is one of the unit’s
12 private rooms.
Nottingham House caters to patients in need of post-hospital rehabilitation
services by offering a wide range of amenities such as, wall-mounted
flat panel televisions; a private outdoor patio and dining room
exclusively for Nottingham House patients; an exercise room in addition
to Kensington Manor’s full-service therapy gym; a living room
with fireplace; and complimentary television and local phone service.
Rehabilitation services, which are provided by the Saint Barnabas
Rehabilitation Affiliates, offer patients comprehensive, state-of-the
art therapies performed by highly skilled physical, occupational,
and speech therapists. The goal of the unit is to assist patients
in reaching their wellness goals, so they may return to an active
and independent lifestyle.
