facility has 39 living suites including 25 studios,
8 deluxe studios, and 6 one-bedroom apartments
- all of which afford each tenant’s need
for privacy and choice.
The purpose of assisted living is to provide
assistance to residents while promoting wellness
and encouraging independence. Each tenant
is evaluated prior to admission to determine
the level of care that he or she requires for
optimal wellness and quality of life.
Services provided in an assisted living atmosphere
have been termed “activities of daily living.” Bathing,
grooming, medication reminders and social activities
are some of the services offered.
As the needs of the tenant change, so do the
fees involved with residing at Saint Barnabas
Assisted Living at Lakewood. This way,
charges are adjusted if fewer or additional services
are necessary. This system accommodates
aging in place – and you only pay for the
services you receive.

to decorate their apartment with personal furniture

mailbox and parking space on facility property. To
help residents look and feel their best, a full-service
beauty salon is located on campus. A laundry
room is available for tenant use, as is a large
outdoor courtyard, private chapel, library, and
Country Kitchen for hosting private gatherings. Small
pets are welcome!

family members and friends and in the community.
Daily activities and social events, along with
shopping trips and group outings are always on
the calendar. These events provide wonderful
