From Garden State Parkway
(North and South) Go to exit #145 (The Oranges-Route 280 West), Take 280 West to exit 6A (Laurel Avenue). From exit, follow blue and white hospital signs to Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

From New Jersey Turnpike
(North and South) Take exit 15W to Route 280 West. (Follow above directions for exit 6A, Laurel Ave).

From Route 287
(North and South) Exit at Route 10 East. Follow Route 10 East to Livingston traffic circle and follow the blue and white hospital signs to
Saint Barnabas Medical Center, East Wing.

From Route 80 East
Exit at Route 280 East. Take exit 6A (Laurel Avenue) and follow blue and white hospital signs to Saint Barnabas Medical Center, East Wing.

From Route 78
(East and West) Exit at 24 West. Continue to J.F.K. Parkway, following signs to Livingston. Turn right at light on South Orange Avenue.
Turn left at second traffic light on Old Short Hills Road. Turn left at next light into Saint Barnabas Medical Center, East Wing.

Parking for the East Wing Building is near the Emergency Room of Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

** Instructions Before Your Visit **

Amniocentesis: 3 (8 oz.) glasses of fluid (non-carbonated). Finish drinking one hour prior to ultrasound. Do not urinate (full bladder required). Light breakfast recommended.

CVS: 3 (8 oz.) glasses of fluid (non-carbonated). Finish one hour prior to ultrasound. Do not urinate (full bladder required). Light breakfast recommended.

1st Trimester Ultrascreen: 3 (8 oz.) glasses of fluid (non-carbonated). Finish drinking one hour prior to ultrasound. Do not urinate (full bladder required). Light breakfast recommended.

1st Trimester Transvaginal Ultrasound (up to 12 weeks pregnant): No prep required.

Ultrasound: (2nd trimester targeted ultrasound): 3 (8 oz.) glasses fluid (non-carbonated). Finish drinking one hour prior to ultrasound. Do not urinate (full bladder required). No prep required after 28 weeks of pregnancy.

Nonstress test or Biophysical profile: No prep required.
