Each year our 100 obstetricians/gynecologists in the Obstetrical Pavilion deliver more babies than any other hospital in New Jersey, with approximately 6,400 births annually, ranking Saint Barnabas 13th in the nation in live births.

We also offer extensive Childbirth and Family Preparation Classes. Our Level III Regional Perinatal Center offers the most advanced intensive care for premature and ill newborns. And our 50-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is one of only a few in the nation with the lowest rate of chronic lung disease, a common complication for extremely low birth-weight infants. [ more ]
