Our Division of Gynecologic Cancer
and Pelvic Surgery is nationally recognized for its expertise
in treating gynecologic malignancies and is one of the largest
centers in the northeastern United States with one of the highest
patient volumes. Team members foster innovative clinical research
for the benefit of patients and deliver comprehensive care in
a sensitive way.
Perinatologists with the Division
of Maternal-Fetal Medicine are sought as consultants by obstetricians
throughout the tri-state area for the management of high-risk
or complicated pregnancies. Our experts utilize leading edge
diagnostic technology and treatments, including fetal intervention
and surgery.
At the Institute for Reproductive
Medicine and Science (Division of Reproductive Endocrinology),
our world-renowned embryologists and endocrinologists have pioneered
many of today's assisted reproductive technologies, including
preimplantation genetic diagnosis and cytoplasmic transfer, which
increase the chance of a viable pregnancy. The Institute's pregnancy
rates are among the highest in the nation. Our patients have
come to us from 43 states and 17 foreign countries.
The Center for Urogynecology of
Saint Barnabas Medical Center specializes in the treatment of pelvic
organ prolapse, urinary stress and/or urge incontinence, overactive
bladder, voiding dysfunction, fecal incontinence, chronic pelvic
pain, including interstital cystitis and other urogynecologic problems.
An experienced medical team offers patients both conservative and
surgical approaches.
