Residency Objectives
The objective of the program is to prepare physicians-in-training
to provide optimal care of the female patient, serve as a consultant
to physicians of other specialties and successfully pass the certification
process of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
This is be accomplished by four years of training in obstetrics
and gynecology, both primary and preventive care, with an appropriate
balance of didactics, supervised training and graduated resident
responsibility.
