The Network offers specialized treatment for adolescents who pose behavioral problems in school or home. Treatment teams include board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists and substance abuse specialists, clinical social workers, registered nurses, clinical nurse specialists and certified educators, as necessary.
This intensive therapeutic structure is appropriate for adolescents with significant behavioral, psychiatric or dual diagnosis problems. The goal of treatment is medical and psychiatric stabilization to facilitate movement into less restrictive levels of care.
For youngsters with psychiatric and dual diagnosis issues, partial hospitalization/day programs provide the structure and support needed to progress to outpatient care. Network-wide programs include an educational component led by certified teachers to assure continuation of studies while in treatment. Customized treatment plans are based on comprehensive assessments including medical/psychiatric/psychological evaluation, as appropriate. Daily programs include groups, individual counseling, arts therapy and recreational activities led by specialists in adolescent behavioral health.
