MMC's 14-bed short-term care facility provides rapid and intensive treatment for the most severely mentally ill. The STCF meets all state-defined criteria for short-term care facilities and offers an alternative to involuntary state psychiatric hospitalization.
Monmouth Medical Center's partial hospitalization programs, offer intensive full-day psychiatric treatment, social support, substance abuse education and treatment as well as vocational rehabilitation for clients who are chronically mentally ill or who have prolonged disability due to major psychiatric illness.
