For acute phase treatment, voluntary and involuntary units meet the needs of clients suffering from Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorders and other diagnoses. Additionally, a 15-bed short-term close acute care unit meets the special needs of clients entering through the facility's Psychiatric Emergency Screening Service.
The facility's highly structured inpatient MICA program coordinates psychiatric treatment with drug/alcohol education and utilizes a Twelve-Step model. A board-certified psychiatrist with advanced training in addictions treatment directs all treatment teams.
Treatment includes medical examination, comprehensive assessment, psychoeducational programming, psychiatric/psychological evaluation and individual, group and family counseling.
Ideal for clients who can maintain adequate support systems during the recovery process, the partial hospitalization MICA program utilizes a Twelve-Step model as well as various psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups, family therapy and on-site A.A. or N.A. meetings.
