Day and evening Intensive Outpatient Programs are offered throughout the Network for those with all major psychiatric disorders as well as those with substance abuse issues. Specific programs include:
The outpatient detoxification program is appropriate for those currently abusing alcohol who need daily medical monitoring for the withdrawal process. Over a three-to-five day period, clients receive treatment which includes participation in psychoeducational groups on the physiology of withdrawal, relapse, recovery and Twelve Step process. Medication management, as well as psychiatric and psychosocial assessments and follow-up are also provided.
Intensive Evening Outpatient Chemical Dependency Programs enable individuals to maintain work and family life during the rehabilitation process. Programs are offered three days weekly for three hours per evening. The program includes components of the intensive day program, including individual, group and family psychotherapy. Evening programs also include on-site AA meetings.
Both programs are led by a staff certified in addictions treatment and are directed by a board-certified addictions psychiatrist.
