 For youngsters with psychiatric and dual diagnosis issues, partial hospitalization/day programs provide the structure and support needed to progress to outpatient care. An educational component led by certified teachers assures continuation of studies while in treatment. Customized treatment plans are based on comprehensive assessment including medical, psychiatric and psychological evaluation. Daily groups, individual counseling, arts therapy and recreational activities are led by specialists in adolescent behavioral health. Family therapy and groups are utilized to eliminate barriers which impede positive functioning. Programs are directed by a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. Transportation is available within certain areas.
