
- 65 children and teens have entered the Healthy LIFE program.
- 85% competed the program, which is a very high retention rate indicating that sessions are enjoyed and valued by participants.
- Participants reported making healthier food choices on a regular basis and not feeling substantial deprivation.
- Participants became more active on a day-to-day basis
- Participants lost a significant amount of body fat (became leaner)
- Body Fat reduced by 7% (trunk) 6% (total body)
- Waist Measurements reduced by 7%
- 80% achieved smaller clothing and/or belt sizes
- Muscle mass increased (an average of 3.25 healthy lbs)
- Running Speed increased
- Body Confidence and Self-Confidence were both higher at the end of the program. These did not go down in any participant.
- Self-perceived Athletic Competency and Physical Appearance increased (Harter Self Perception Profile).
