Pulmonary Rehabilitation Outpatient (973) 322-8926 The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Saint Barnabas Medical Center is designed to aid people with Acute and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (C.O.P.D.) such as Emphysema, Chronic Bronchitis, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis and many other breathing problems, maintain and improve the quality of their lives. Through early intervention and individually planned and designed education, exercise, motivation and lifestyle adjustment programs, patients can once again take control of their daily activities and lives. Long-term studies have shown that participants of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs are more self-reliant and require less use of medical services.
